Programs & Services Overview

The mental health and substance abuse treatment needs of the people we serve in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts are varied, and so are the programs that serve them. We specialize in providing treatment services that respond to the entire spectrum of mental health needs. These services target people with serious and persistent mental illness who need intensive (sometimes daily) care, people who require only brief or sporadic care,and everyone in between. In recognition of our richly diverse community, we offer specialized services that acknowledge unique gender and cultural values.

Early Childhood Institute
For preschool children with behavior problems.

Child and Family Services
Counseling programs and services for children up to 21 years old.

• Child Counseling Programs and Services
  Providing intensive services for children with serious behavior and emotional problems to prevent psychiatric hospitalizations and out-of-home placements whenever possible.

  This program provides intensive services for children to prevent psychiatric hospitalizations and out-of-home placements whenever possible.

  Serving the special needs of children in grades K - 12.

Specialized Adolescent Services
Counseling programs and services for troubled teenagers up to 21 years old

• Treatment Programs for Troubled Teenagers
  Provides partial hospitalization and intensive programs for teenagers who are at risk for full hospitalization.

  For teenagers in the custody of the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF).
