Denise A. Patnode named Chief Financial Officer

PROVIDENCE, RI (June 23, 2008) – The Providence Center, a community-based, outpatient behavioral health organization, announces the following management appointment:

Denise A. Patnode has been named Chief Financial Officer at The Providence Center. Patnode will be responsible for providing sound financial strategies to the Board of Trustees and management team, as well as providing relevant financial data necessary for budgetary and financial decisions for The Center. Prior to joining The Providence Center, Patnode served as finance director for East Bay Center in Barrington, RI. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Rhode Island. Patnode resides in Warwick, RI.

The Providence Center annually serves over 11,000 adults, children and adolescents who struggle with mental illness, addiction and emotional problems. Since its establishment in 1969, The Providence Center has been part of Rhode Island’s exemplary behavioral healthcare system, offering a comprehensive array of treatment and rehabilitation services.
