NON-DEGREE POSITIONS

Medical Office Assistant
Salary: $11.28 - $13.85 (midpoint). This position is full-time, 37.50 hours per week. Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm, with half hour for lunch. Greet visitors at the reception area, schedule appointments, respond to telephone callers and take messages. Collect demographic data, verify insurance coverage, amount of outstanding deductible, and collect fees as appropriate. High school diploma with a business background and two years experience with third party reimbursement; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess good typing skills as well as good spelling and grammar. Excellent communication skills required. General computer experience also required.

Teaching Assistant, Imagine Preschool (P/T)
Salary: $10.00 per hour. This position is part-time, 20 hours per week. Monday thru Friday 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Support Head Teacher and Associate Teachers in implementing individually, culturally, and developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum within Imagine Preschool. B.A. or A.A. degree in a related field such as child study, child psychology, early childhood special education, elementary education, or nursing preferred. Also will consider applicants with: Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or high school diploma or its equivalent; and have three years of supervised experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program or certified family day care home; and have history of regular participation in an ongoing early childhood staff development program.

ASSOCIATE -LEVEL POSITIONS

Associate Teacher, Imagine Preschool (2 positions)
Salary: $12.18 -$15.38 hourly (midpoint). These positions are full-time, 37.50 hours per week. First position: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 3:30 pm with half hour lunch. Second position: Monday thru Friday 10:30am to 6:00pm with half hour lunch. Support Head Teacher in developing and directly providing individually, culturally, and developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum within Imagine Child Care learning environments. AA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with a min. of three mos. supervised teaching experience in licensed/approved early childhood program for preschoolers. Also consider applicants who: 1) hold HS diploma or equiv. and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential; and have completed 15 credits in Early Childhood Education and/or Child Development at the post-secondary level with a min of three months supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program OR 2) hold a BA or AA in related field; and have completed two courses in child development or early childhood education (one of which must be in child development); and have a minimum of one years’ supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program. Must demonstrate knowledge about human development for children, ages 0-5 and skill in working with children, ages 0-5, and their families. Must have valid driver’s license and insured auto.

 

BACHELOR-LEVEL POSITIONS

Employment Specialist
Salary: $13.97 - $18.46 (midpoint). This position is full-time, 37.50 hours per week. Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with one hour for lunch. Coordinate vocational and employment services in conjunction with multi-disciplinary team members in order to support individuals in identifying, securing and maintaining employment opportunities of their choice. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Human Services required plus at least 2 years experience in a vocational/employment setting. Experience with psychiatric disabled preferred. Must have valid driver's license and insured auto.

Teaching Assistant – Middle School Team
Salary: $12.18 - $15.38 (midpoint). This position is full-time, 37.50 hours per week. Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30pm with half hour lunch break. Support teaching staff in academic, recreation, crisis intervention and social skill building instruction in The Providence Center School. Bachelor's degree or Teaching Assistant Certification required. Must also have insured auto and valid driver’s license

Technology Support Specialist, C&F
Salary: $12.18 - $15.38 (midpoint). This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week. Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm with a half hour lunch break. Assist the Technology Coordinator in the planning and implementation of the technology program for The Providence Center School. Assist in working with teachers, support staff members, and students to enhance instruction through the use of technology in the classroom and throughout the school – providing technical support to effectively use technology. Assist in the troubleshooting of computer software and hardware problems of school users. Assist in the overall maintenance and care of all school technology related products. Minimally a bachelor's degree in Education or Technology related field and at least two years experience. Experience in technology hardware/software applications and technology end-user support.

MASTER-LEVEL POSITIONS

Case Manager/Clinician
Salary: $26,250.00 - $34,000.00 (midpoint). This position is full-time, 37.50 hours per week. Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with one hour for lunch. Coordinate services for consumers to minimize stressors, provide psychotherapy and to facilitate the reduction of psychiatric symptoms. Provide outpatient psychotherapy. Master of Social Work degree or other Master's degree in a clinical specialty, as well as relevant experience with substance abuse and serious mental illness. Must have valid driver's license and insured auto.

Emergency Services Clinicians (After Hours)
(Hourly rate varies base on experience) Per Diem, including nights to provide outpatient services after hours for Center consumers at RI Hospital. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding treatment. RN or Clinical masters degree and experience with crisis intervention required.

Fee-for-Service Clinician - BHOP
To provide outpatient psychotherapy either at The Center. Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, screening, case management, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program. Master degree in Social Work and relevant clinical experience. LICSW/LMHC with 3 year post licensure and LCDP required. Experience providing substance abuse treatment preferred.

Fee-for-Service Clinical Therapist - C&F
Work with children, adolescents, and their families providing outpatient therapeutic services. Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program. Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field and relevant clinical experience required. LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT required. 3 years post-license experience preferred. Must have experience with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents.

Fee-for-Service Psychologist - C&F
Provide psychological evaluation and testing, as well as provide psychotherapy to consumers in our Child and Family Program. Ph.D in Psychology with emphasis on children, Rhode Island licensure, and several years of clinical experience with children and their families required. Generous compensation, comparable to private practice take home! Benefit and pension eligibility a possibility if you meet the minimum hours requirement.

Clinical Therapist, Substance Abuse Specialist
Salary: $32,500.00 - $45,000.00 (midpoint). This position is full-time, 37.50 hours per week. Monday, 9:00am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 12:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, 9:00 am to 5 pm, with half hour for lunch. To provide community based therapeutic services to children, adolescents and their families with a specialty in treatment related to substance abuse. Master degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field and relevant clinical experience with children and/or adolescents and their families. LICSW/ LMFT/ LMHC preferred, as well as training/ experience in substance abuse treatment. Must have experience with community based work and/or severely emotionally disturbed adolescents. LCDP preferred. Insured auto and valid driver's license.
