Job No 1024–Account/Billing Assistant
Salary: $13.97 – $18.46 (midpoint) This position is a full time, 8 hr shift, 37.50 hours per week. Monday thru Friday with half hour lunch. Exact hours TBD. Keep records of financial transactions and perform detailed billing queries and back up accounts receivable functions. Provide some Finance support and perform Medicaid/State Billing. AS400 experience preferred and experience using excel spreadsheets. Must be detailed oriented, able to handle multiple tasks and work independently . High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least two years experience in general office, bookkeeping and/or financial record procedures; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job No 1338–Residential Case Manager – Brick Manor
Salary: $12.95 – $16.92 (midpoint) This position is part-time, 19 hours per week. Sunday, 4 pm - 8pm, Friday, 4pm- 11 pm and Saturday, 3 pm to 11 pm. Provide psycho-social rehab services in order to facilitate program goals and objectives in a quality care approach. Associates degree in Human Services or related field required. Experience in residential facilities helpful. Must have valid driver's license and insured auto.

Job No. 1070–Substance Abuse Therapist - LTC
Salary: $26,250.00 – $34,000.00 (midpoint) This position are full time 37.50 hours per week. Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with half hour lunch. Provide individual, group and family therapy and monitor client progress. Bachelor's degree in social work of Human Services or related field. Two years experience in substance abuse therapy, as well as experience dealing with the dually diagnosed. Must have awareness of the general trends in confronting the problems of substance abuse. Valid drivers license and insured auto. Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional certification required.  

Job No. 5144–Substance Abuse Therapist –New Directions (DOC)
Salary: TBD Based on Credentials. This position is full time 37.50 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday and Thursday 1 pm to 9pm and must work occasional Saturdays from 9 am to 11 am. Provide individual, group and family therapy and monitor client progress. Perform other duties to support Adult Behavioral Substance Abuse Services. Bachelor's degree in Social work, Counseling or related field, 2 years experience in the substance abuse field. Experience with co-occurring disorders preferred. Must have awareness of the general trends in confronting the problems of substance abuse. Valid drivers license and insured auto. Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional certification required or will consider individual who is near satisfaction of the requirements for LCDP if they have a master’s degree or licensure in social work or mental health.

Master-Level Positions


Job No TBD–Clinical Intake Specialist, C&F
Salary: $32,500.00 – $45,000.00 (midpoint) This position is full-time, 37.50 hours per week . Hours to be determined. Assess/evaluate the type and degree of a new (or returning) child or adolescent client’s mental health and/or substance abuse condition to determine whether services are needed and to link the client to the most appropriate services. To establish a psychiatric diagnosis, collect data sufficient to permit a case formulation and to develop an initial treatment plan as needed. Master’s degree in the healing arts, clinical experience working with children/adolescents 0-17 and LISCW/LMHC/LMFT required. 5 years post licensure and LCDP preferred. Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred. Computer proficiency a must!

Job No. 5162 and 5163–Clinical Therapists Bilingual (2)
Salary $32,500.00- $45,000.00 (midpoint) Hours are Sunday 10am – 6pm: Monday 5pm – 8pm, Tuesday 5 pm – 8pm, Thursday 5pm- 8pm; Friday 5pm – 8pm and Saturday 9am – 5pm. Sunday 10 am – 6pm.  Grant for Rapid Access of RI. This grant funded position in conjunction with the Health Centers. Must have LICSW and willing to work with primary care physicians.  Master’s degree in Social Work or related field and clinical experience.  Fluency in Spanish speaking, writing and reading preferred. Insured auto and valid driver's license.

Job No TBD Clinical Therapist - CAITS
Salary: $32,500.00 – $45,000.00 (midpoint). This position is full-time, 37.50 hours per week. Hours flexible to include evenings until 7 pm as needed. Provide community based therapeutic services to children, adolescents and their families. Master degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field and relevant clinical experience with children and/or adolescents and their families. LICSW/ LMFT/ LMHC preferred. Must have experience with community based work and/or severely emotionally disturbed adolescents. Bilingual English/Spanish required for one of the positions. Insured auto and valid driver's license also required.

Job No. 348 Manager, CSP Team
Salary: $36,500.00 – $52,500.00 (midpoint). This position is full-time, 37.50 hours per week. Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a one hour lunch. Coordinate the daily operations of the team, as well as perform case management duties. Bachelor degree in Human Services field required.  Master degree required  2 years relevant experience in direct care with the psychiatrically disabled population and/or in a similar social service agency, as well as 2 years prior supervisory experience. Insured auto required.

Emergency Services Clinicians (After Hours) 12:00 midnight - 8:00 a.m.
(Hourly rate varies base on experience) Per Diem, including nights to provide outpatient services after hours for Center consumers at local ER Hospitals.  Evaluate and make recommendations regarding treatment.  RN or Clinical masters degree and experience with crisis intervention required. 

Fee-for-Service Clinician - BHOP
To provide outpatient psychotherapy either at The Center. Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, screening, case management, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program. Master degree in Social Work and relevant clinical experience. LICSW/LMHC with 3 year post licensure and LCDP required. Experience providing substance abuse treatment preferred.

Fee-for-Service Clinical Therapist - Child and Family 
Work with children, adolescents, and their families providing outpatient therapeutic services. Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program. Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field and relevant clinical experience required. LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT required. 3 years post-license experience preferred.  Must have experience with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Fee-for-Service Psychologist - Child and Family
Provide psychological evaluation and testing, as well as provide psychotherapy to consumers in our Child and Family Program. Ph.D in Psychology with emphasis on children, Rhode Island licensure, and several years of clinical experience with children and their families required.  Generous compensation, comparable to private practice take home!  Benefit and pension eligibility a possibility if you meet the minimum hours requirement.

Fee-For-Service Psychiatrist - BHOP
Join The Providence Center and become part of a well-respected community mental health center.  The Center provides a wide spectrum of outpatient and residential services.  Job responsibilities are varied.  Board certification or eligibility is required.
